Every Bottle Is a Briefing
Mission Briefings
Practical, no-nonsense protocols — when to deploy, how to apply, and what to pair it with. Field-tested guidance, not dense chemistry jargon.
General Protocol
How to Run Any Dr Danger Formula
When to Deploy
Match colour and flavour intensity to water clarity and season. Bright, sweet formulas (Mayhem, Riot, Nitro) suit clear water and warmer months; dark, spice or garlic formulas (Blackout, Reaper, Venom) suit low light, cold water and pressured venues.
Application Protocol
Shake well before use. Dip your hookbait or feed for 10–20 seconds, allow it to soak in, and reapply every 20–30 minutes of active fishing or after every recast in a slow swim.
Combo Pairing
Pair your dip with a matching feed — floaties, mielies or groundbait in a similar flavour family — so the free offering and hookbait send the same signal into the swim.
Safety & Care
Store below 30°C out of direct sun. Keep out of reach of children. Rinse hands and equipment after use, and handle any catch with wet hands over a soft, supported surface.
Field Conditions
Seasonal Deployment Guide
A starting point for South African bank conditions — always adjust to your own venue and let a field report confirm what's working right now.
| Season / Conditions | Suggested Formula Family | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Summer, clear water, warm banks | Mayhem, Riot, Nitro, Swampfire, Blast, Meltdown, Crush, Strike | Bright fruit and sweet profiles carry well and match natural summer feeding activity. |
| Winter, cold, clear water | Blackout, Reaper, Toxic, Hornet, Scorch | Darker spice, mint and garlic profiles cut through cold water without overpowering sluggish fish. |
| Coloured / turbid water after rain | Outbreak, Plague, Venom, Beast, Reactor | Strong garlic, protein and honey-based scent trails compensate for reduced visibility. |
| Pressured competition banks | Venom, Napalm, Hornet, Frenzy, Scorch, Crush | Proven, repeatable formulas favoured for consistency under tournament conditions. |
| Overcast, raining, or a strong wind chop | Blackout, Reaper, Reactor | Flat light and a broken surface suit dark, scent-led baits; bright profiles have less to work with. |
| Night sessions | Blackout, Reaper, Reactor | Formulated around scent-led attraction for low-visibility feeding windows. |
| Specimen / predator hunts | Beast | Fish-protein-forward profile built to draw larger, predatory species. |
